The Transport Scotland Directors’ Board had its monthly meeting on Friday, 18 April. The key points from the discussion were:
- Board visit to North East of Scotland – the Board discussed a draft agenda for their forthcoming visit to Aberdeen
- Monthly Board Pack – the Board noted the content of the latest Board pack
- Transport Scotland FOI Publication Scheme - the Board discussed and approved the revised scheme which had been developed with input from all Directorates
- Corporate and Business Plan 2008/09– the Board discussed the Business Plan and the way forward
- Board on European Marketing – the Board received an update on this
- Calendar of Board discussions - the Board agreed a revised calendar of annual Board discussions with the inclusion of audit committee chair report and draft corporate plan, as well as reviewing the annual report. The Board also agreed to discuss the STPR; Network Rail Periodic Review; performance measurement and evaluation, road space and intelligent transport systems. This schedule will be reviewed in September
- STPR – the Board noted the current position with this review.
The next Board meeting is scheduled for Friday 23 May 2008.
