The Transport Scotland Directors’ Board had its monthly meeting on Friday, 19 October. The key points from the discussion were:
- Monthly Board Pack – the Board discussed the content of the latest Board pack
- Transport Model for Scotland Annual Report – the Board discussed the publication of this report
- STAG Refresh Exercise Outcomes - the Board agreed to the publication of the Scottish Transport Appraisal Guidance (STAG) refresh report
- Transport Scotland Business Plan 20007/08 – the Board discussed the Business Plan and the way forward
- Future Board Meetings – it was agreed that due to the increase in business being discussed at Board level future meetings would be 3 hours in duration. In addition the Board would clarify its roles and function to help ensure that agenda items were discussed at the correct forum
- Ministerial Support – the Board discussed how Transport Scotland can better meet the needs of Ministers.
The next Board meeting is scheduled for Monday 19 November.
