MORE than 700 people have written in to Transport Scotland to give their views on the proposals for a replacement crossing of the Forth.
Some 769 letters, emails and feedback forms were received in total by the close of the feedback period last Friday (7 September). This followed a two-week period of exhibitions at locations in Fife, Edinburgh, Dundee, Perth and West Lothian which were attended by more than 4,000 members of the public.
Forth Replacement Crossing project director David Anderson said:
"We would like to thank everyone who has taken the time to give us their views on the options for the crossing.
"These will now be carefully analysed and the information compiled into a report which will outline the public’s response to the exhibitions. This report will be considered alongside the technical information by Ministers when reaching a decision on the crossing in the autumn"
