In addition to the construction of the railway between Stirling and Kincardine, the project has delivered a new Alloa Eastern Link Road, which opened in April.
The new one mile single carriageway road connects the new roundabout just east of Morrisons on the A907 with the Carsbridge roundabout leading towards Tillicoultry.
Construction of the new road has allowed for the closure of Hilton Road level crossing and will divert traffic away from the increasingly busy Alloa town centre.
