Welcome to the Stirling-Alloa-Kincardine Railway website. As one of the most important railway infrastructure projects in recent years, the reopening of the Stirling-Alloa-Kincardine line will deliver major social, economic and environmental benefits to the communities directly concerned and also to Scotland as a whole.
By reopening around 21km of track, the Stirling-Alloa-Kincardine Railway will provide passenger services from Alloa to Stirling and freight services to Longannet Power Station. See map of route.
