This week has focused on recording Structure 10, which would have been the Pattern Shop for the foundry.

In addition to this, a building to the south-east of the Pattern Shop was uncovered and cleaned. This building doesn’t appear on the 1st edition Ordnance Survey map of 1857, which makes this structure very exciting. Its use is still unknown.
