A mechanical excavator was used to excavate a section through Structure 10, the Pattern Room. This section was dug to discover what the structure consisted of. The section was then drawn and recorded.

The main yard area, which has been cleaned for the last three weeks, is now finally ready for recording. The cleaning has revealed a number of in-situ organic remains, such as wood, but it is yet unknown what these are.
