Fullarton Roundabout
Diversions will be in place this weekend (Saturday 13 March until Monday 15 March) at Fullarton Roundabout, Glasgow.
Drivers wishing to travel southbound on the M74 at Fullarton Roundabout (Junction 1) shall be diverted via London Road, to Carmyle Avenue to join M74 at Junction 2.
Drivers travelling from London Road to M74 southbound shall be diverted to Carmyle Avenue (Junction 2).
These diversions will begin at 1900hrs on Saturday 13 March until around 0600 hrs on Monday 15 March.
All road diversions will be clearly signed.
Boggleshole Road will be closed at the southbound junction with Cambuslang Road by South Lanarkshire Council from 2000 hrs Friday 12 March until 2000 hrs Sunday 14 March. Northbound will remain open.
M74 southbound traffic will be diverted to Junction 2 and local traffic will be diverted to Fullarton Roundabout.
Eglinton Street and surrounding area
Carnoustie Street will be closed overnight only between Scotland Street and Gloucester Street to allow for ongoing works in relation to the M74.
These restrictions will apply each night from 2200 hrs on Sunday 14 February 2010 to 0600 hrs on Friday 19 February 2010.
In order to allow bridge launch works for the M74 project, Eglinton Street will be closed from Cumberland Street to Devon Street and from Devon Street to Turriff Street each night between midnight and 0600hrs during dates below.
These restrictions will apply from Sunday 7 February to Friday 19 February 2010.
Temporary closure of a number of roads in the area will be required at night whilst the launch of the Port Eglinton Viaduct takes place over the West Coast Main Line and Eglinton Street. It is anticipated that temporary road closures will be applied between 12 midnight and 6am on a nightly basis from Wednesday 3rd February to Saturday 6th February inclusive.
