What's involved?
Two bridges were built over the railway to provide access to a new roundabout providing safe access to all routes.
Project benefits
This project improves road safety at an accident black spot as it removes the need for vehicles to cross the A9 to access the village. Southbound travellers will continue to enter the junction as before.

Impact on travel
Journeys along the A9 through the Ballinluig area will be safer and quicker due to the increase to the speed limit.
Traffic management
Single lane working and reduced speed limits were in place for the duration of the construction works.
