What is the Fleet Analysis Support Scheme?
A funding opportunity from Transport Scotland to help small and medium HGV operators understand how to decarbonise their fleets.
What do SMEs get?
Up to £20,000 to fund a tailored fleet decarbonisation report that will provide expert analysis of:
- Current fleet and operations
- Suitable zero-emission technologies
- Infrastructure needs (e.g. depot charging)
- Financing options (e.g. truck-as-a-service)
- Transition plans (short, medium, long-term)
Who can apply?
Eligible SMEs should:
- Operate out of Scotland
- Operate 100 or fewer HGVs (vehicles over 3.5 tonnes)
- Have a UK bank account and annual accounts
What’s required from SMEs?
- Complete a short application form – Transport Scotland can help you complete the form
- Provide basic company details and confirm eligibility
- Work with a data consultant to produce the report by providing them with your telematics data
- Receive the completed report and provide a copy to Transport Scotland
- Funding claimed (by operator or data supplier) before 31 March 2026

Applications are open until 16th January 2026.
